What is the best air cleaner for allergies?
For most homes a media air cleaner (MERV 11 or higher) on the furnace makes the biggest difference. We can add a purifier if odors or germs are a concern too.
What humidity should my home be?
Roughly 30 to 50%. In winter, stay toward the lower end on very cold days to avoid condensation on windows.
Does a whole-home dehumidifier help a damp basement?
Yes. It removes moisture from the whole house through your ductwork, which helps with musty smells and mold.
Do air quality products need maintenance?
Yes, filters and humidifier pads need regular changes. We can include them in your maintenance visits.
